Role Description
The City Growth Manager leads the growth activities and initiatives for the city. For established/evolved cities the role is more focused on executing marketing activations and driving customer delight initiatives. In new cities, the role is more focused on launching new areas across the city. Overall, the role is focussed on contribution towards growth and expansion of the business, process improvement and project management.
Job Description
- Drive demand in conjunction with the central marketing team by
- Sourcing partner funded discounts and promoting those to potential and existing customers
- Executing innovative marketing activations to the relevant target groups
- Driving customer delight initiatives to drive loyalty and create a positive brand buzz
- Initiating and executing strategic alliances and collaborations with corporates and other similar business
- Lead the launch of new areas across the city and increase the expansion in the city geographically
- Drive cross function initiatives associated with the launch of new areas/city viz. supply side, operations, marketing etc.
- Drive city level initiatives under the guidance of a City Business Head
- Planning and execution of org level initiatives such as Swiggy Select, long distance delivery, etc at a city level
- Track the progress of the above mentioned initiatives in terms of milestones, timelines, budgets, issues, etc.
- Interact with central corporate team to implement new ideas/process and take up central strategic initiatives
- Drive awareness through visibility and activations at trade partner outlets to reach out to their captive audiences
- Shape demand across the city in line with forecasts through coordination with the operations & supply teams
- Analyze and report the impact of various marketing activities and feed those data insights into subsequent campaigns to improve ROI
- Manage a team and maintain vendor relationships to effectively execute campaigns
